At the Hampton Roads Convention Center, our priority is to ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every guest. To help maintain a welcoming environment, we ask all attendees to adhere to the following Code of Conduct.

General Expectations:
• Venue staff will treat all guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Guests may not display or wear obscene, indecent, or offensive language, symbols, or imagery.
• Disruptive behavior—including foul language, abusive gestures, or any form of harassment—is strictly prohibited.
• Physical altercations, throwing objects, or unauthorized access to restricted areas will result in immediate removal without a refund.

Health & Safety:
• Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is strictly prohibited inside the venue.
• Alcohol consumption must be responsible; intoxicated or underage individuals will be promptly addressed by staff.
• Guests are required to follow all facility rules and comply with staff instructions, especially during emergencies.

Reporting Issues:
If you need assistance or witness unruly behavior, please notify a member of the HRCC team or contact our Public Safety Office at 757-315-1632.

Enforcement:
Any guest who violates this Code of Conduct may be removed from the premises without a refund and may also face arrest or a ban from the facility if their behavior breaks the law.
